Slack Integration

Post real-time notifications to a Slack channel when key events happen — new invoices, task updates, and more.

Prerequisites

  • •A Slack workspace where you have permission to add apps

Step 1 — Create an Incoming Webhook in Slack

  1. 1Go to api.slack.com/apps and click Create New App → From scratch.
  2. 2Name the app (e.g. ArchCenter) and select your workspace.
  3. 3In the left sidebar, click Incoming Webhooks and toggle it On.
  4. 4Scroll down and click Add New Webhook to Workspace. Choose a channel and click Allow.
  5. 5Copy the Webhook URL shown (starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/…).

Step 2 — Save in ArchCenter

  1. 1Go to Integrations in your dashboard and open the Slack card.
  2. 2Paste the Webhook URL and enter the channel name (e.g. #general).
  3. 3Toggle Active, click Save, then click Test to send a test message to your channel.

Tip

Create a dedicated #archcenter-notifications channel in Slack to keep firm activity separate from team conversations.
